I purchased this product and compared it to the branded, much more expensive option. I think this is an amazing dupe in terms of quality. While the materials differ slightly between the two products (this material is slightly rougher to the touch), I found this equally effective in blocking out light.I actually prefer the overall design of this product over the branded competitor--specifically the double-flap and the top vent. More specifically, this tent has an inner mesh flap which blocks 50-60% of the light, but allows for more ventilation (should you need it, as it can get quite stuffy inside the tent once fully closed), and then an outer flap should you want to block out 100% of the light; the branded competitor has only one flap to fully block out the light. Furthermore, this tent has a completely open mesh top (which can be left exposed, should you need more ventilation, or covered up with a cap to block out all light).Customer service is also extremely amazing. They reached out within a day of my purchasing this tent. I found that the tent was lopsided (possibly due to my incorrect installation of the rods), and after they reviewed the pictures, they immediately sent me a replacement and the tracking number to rectify the situation.I am extremely pleased with both the the quality of the product, the price point and the customer service, and would recommend this product. I can't wait to use this tent when travelling with the baby!Our daughter HATES room sharing with us. However, we needed a solution when traveling with family and only being able to have one room. We bought this and it works like a charm. Takes a minute to set up but it’s basically a little tent. We bought a small fan for the top pocket as it can get a little warm in there. We also use her monitor and it doesn’t show everything but it’s fine. She sleeps as well if not better than she does at home with this! Perfect for traveling since it packs down small.This product would have been amazing if my daughter didn’t feel like she was trapped when it was over her crib. She hated it and would not sleep if it was up. Returning for that reasonMy 2 year old started using this when he was climbing out of his crib. We transitioned from a crib to a floor bed and he did not do well in the floor bed alone. I searched for a solution and this tent has solved all his sleep problems. He loves it! It’s very well made. You can disassemble it and wash it. I recently damaged one of the poles and reached out to customer service and they quickly responded to send me a new one ASAP. Very happy with our purchase!This has saved us when traveling! Fits perfectly on our pack and play and our daughter sleeps so well in it!Great value but instructions on set up were not easy to follow. It was a hit and miss until I finally figured out the side vents and cross over. Nothing included in box just a “EASY TO FOLLOW” pictures on box that really was not that easy to follow…other than that it is a great product and can also use for the play and pack I have . Not just for cribs…which is a true asset.I haven't used a slumberpod before but am so glad I found this version. The poles snap together and come apart for storage. It's very intuitive to set up and easy to put up and down, though I imagine it's easier to set up with two people. The fabric is really very dark and very stretchy. The front has the blackout flap and a dark mesh flap. I like that the toolp can come off for daytime sleep to let in more light. If you're on the fence, give this a try!Instructions were not good but I looked at other reviews and pictures to figure it out. Well made, great option instead of the name brand. Once we figured out how to assemble, it was easy.
