I enjoyed this book, even though I was already familiar with much of the information. It is a wonderful resource for quick statistics and creative recipes. Another book that one might want to read before or after this one to help them on their path to raw or vegan eating is Eat to Live. Once you understand the science of health and hunger, you begin to realize that it is very natural to eat raw and vegan. In fact, my own children from the very beginning of their solid food journeys have always prefered fresh, clean, raw foods with little exception. Even when their corrupted parents decide to have a "treat" they often decide they don't like it after a couple of bites. Anyway, I can't compete with some of the other, more thorough reviews of this book right now, but believe them that it is a very enjoyable and educational read!
